HAIP's 2020 Community Service Project

One of HAIP’s missions is to support our local community.  Thanks to HAIP’s membership input, for the month of January 2020 we selected the Hawaiian Humane Society as our community service project.   The Hawaiian Humane Society is an education and advocacy organization that shelters, protects, rescues, reunites and rehomes animals.  It is Oahu’s only open-admission shelter that welcomes all animals.  Established in 1883, this non-profit organization is not a chapter of any group as there is no national humane society.  Gifts made directly to this independent, local organization help local animals and people.

Starting January 1st thru January 24th, 2020, HAIP will be collecting food, supplies and toys for the Hawaiian Humane Society.  Drop off your donations during business hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with any of the insurance carriers listed on the attached flyer.  Contact the respective representatives to coordinate when you will be coming by the office to drop off items.  We’ve also listed a full list of urgently needed supplies.  For monetary donations – please make your check payable to the Hawaiian Humane Society.
