Safety Essay Writing Competition & Holiday Luncheon

Each year HAIP sponsors a Safety Essay Writing Contest among the local high schools.  The submitted essays are judged by various HAIP members who volunteer their time.  The winners of the essays are announced at the December Membership Meeting and Holiday Luncheon.  There is also a guest speaker prior to the winners being announced.  This year HAIP was honored to have Kim Buffett Feigenspan, Dean of Students, Damien Memorial School talk about distracted driving.  Kim is also a retired Honolulu Police Officer.
